Cure For The Monday Morning Blues!

It's Monday morning and for many of us that means back to the grind stone. I already got amped up from Saks Fifth Avenue telling its readers to use a little blush on the cheeks to help brighten the day.

Now I'd like to do my part and say, let's think about leopard tights for a little excitement! Imagine how these tights may look under some denim cut off shorts? Ohhhhh! Or how about for a slick night on the town with your "boo" in your all red everything, lrd with the leopard tights as an accent! *eyebrow raise*.

A lot can be done with leopard tights, so if you are interested in buying them visit urbanoutfitters.com under Betsey Johnson.

Toodles!

Jay-Z, Jada and Will Smith Motion Picture Production Co!

Overbrook Entertainment partners James Lassiter, Ken Stovitz, Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith have formed a joint venture with Shawn "JAY-Z" Carter to develop and produce major motion pictures.  One of the projects being discussed is the re-imagination of the classic Broadway musical ANNIE as a vehicle for Willow Smith to star. The film will be developed with Sony Pictures Entertainment and produced by Overbrook Entertainment and Mr. Carter.

The partnership began over dinner with Jada, Will, James Lassiter and JAY-Z, where they decided to co-invest in the now successful beauty products line Carol's Daughter. They continued this partnership as co-producers of the successful Broadway production Fela!, which earned a total of eleven Tony Award nominations in 2010.

Guess The Designer: Michelle Obama's SUPERB SOTU Dress!!!

Michelle Obama looked simple yet sophisticated, elegant and nothing less than classic in a silver silk, Rachel Roy dress for her husbands State of the Union Address last night!! When you talk about someone who gets it right? This lady surely does!! We love the black and white bow to show respect to those who experienced the tragedy in Tucson. Also, congrats to the Republicans and Democrats who decided to not sit in sections segregated by party as they usually do, but to mix and mingle amongst each other during the address!!

Sunglasses You Will Want To Be Sporting This Spring!!

Happy Saturday, all! I am going to go in on sunglasses today, one of the simplest items to purchase, but one of the most statement pieces that we can purchase.

Sunglasses, can do a lot for our wardrobe look, ladies and gentlemen! When worn properly they do more for us than just shield and protect our eyes from the sun. They can sometimes be the icing on the cake (our outfits being the cake) that will complete our look.

The sunglasses seen above are mainly statement eye wear. Statement sunglasses are best worn with a not so statement outfit, unless you are shooting a video, attending a fashion forward event or doing something else, that may call for a Full Blown Fashion Frenzy!!

Designers of the sunglasses in sequence of the images

A-Morir Kerin.Rose Beethoven - Price $200
Alloy - Price $10.90
Alexander Wang Zipper - Price $325
RayBan (new assorted colors) - Price $145
Anthropologie Lunettes - Price $24

If you would like to see more sunglasses, images of celebrities and what's hot in fashion and lifestyle, like the Notable Styles and More Page on facebook, here. I greatly appreciate you.

18 Mistakes You Do Not Want To Make On An Email!!

I will post an excerpt of an article about email etiquette because it IS important. These rules do not only apply to the workplace. I feel that these rules should be applied anytime that you email someone, especially if you want to be seen as a professional and intellectually inclined person.

1. Sending before you mean to.
Enter the recipient's e-mail address only when your e-mail is ready to be sent. This helps reduce the risk of an embarrassing misfire, such as sending an important e-mail to the wrong person or e-mailing a half-written note.

2. Forgetting the attachment. If your e-mail includes an attachment, upload the file to the e-mail before composing it. This eliminates the embarrassing mistake of forgetting it before hitting "send," and having to send another e-mail saying you forgot to attach the document.

3. Expecting an instant response. Don't send an e-mail and show up at the recipient's desk 30 seconds later asking if they've received it. They did, and they'll answer at their convenience. That's the point of e-mail.

4. Forwarding useless e-mails. I've never seen a single e-mail forward at work that was beneficial. Whether it's a silly joke or a heartwarming charity, there's never a time to share an e-mail forward using your work e-mail.

5. Not reviewing all new messages before replying. When you return to the office after a week or more away, review all new e-mails before firing off responses. It might be hard to accept, but odds are, things did march on without you. Replying to something that was already handled by a co-worker creates extra communication, which can lead to confusion, errors, and at the very least, wasted time for everyone involved.

Utilize this link to read the entire article.

An additional tip that is not within the article, Please perform a spell and grammar check before sending.

Starbucks Newest Drink Size Will Kill Your Appetite?

I hope that I am not the only one who noticed a nice size, flavorful Starbuck's drink, fills you up for at least 2-3 hours and of course gets your adrenalin pumping. So why is Starbuck's introducing a new size drink (for iced beverages only) called the Trenta? Do we need more at a time?

The Trenta is 916ml/31 oz. of cold drink and will be in all Starbuck's stores across the nation by May the 3rd. Research has proven that an adult stomach regularly holds around 900 ml of fluid or anything else for that matter at a time. Giving me the impression that drinking a trenta in between meals or in place of one may be a way to watch your food intake? *The previous statement is not medically approved or proven.*

View the chart below to compare everyday beverage servings and how the Trenta fits in.

What do you think about the new larger Starbuck's serving? Is it like a Super-Size fry? More empty calories for the sake of a caffeinated or non-caffeinated impulse?
